Ghana Football Association’s Communication Director, Henry Asante Twum, believes the strong collaboration with the Sports Ministry puts the Black Stars in a good place as they prepare for the upcoming qualifiers.
He explained that the relationship between the two bodies has been smooth, with logistics and travel matters handled promptly. For him, this teamwork is crucial as the national team gets ready for two important fixtures.
"So far our conversation with the ministry is very positive normally if we are going to play a match like this we send a list to the ministry. Any arrangement in terms of logistics and budget we send it to the ministry in terms of traveling too protocol office in the ministry takes care of that," he told Peace FM.
"As we do it every time we have collaborated with them several times so far they have given us the assurance that everything is in order. We will continue to engage till the weekend the players will complete their games and join us,"
Ghana currently leads Group I with 15 points from six games and will play Chad in N'Djamena on September 4 before hosting Mali in Accra four days later.
