New Asante Kotoko signing Walid Neymar Fuseini says he is determined to prove his quality at the highest level after completing a move to the Kumasi giants.
The 25-year-old midfielder penned a three-year contract with the Porcupine Warriors this week, joining as a free agent following the dissolution of his former club, Nsoatreman.
His arrival is viewed as a statement addition for Kotoko, who continue to retool their squad for the coming campaign.
Fuseini, who can feature centrally, further forward, or out wide, believes Kotoko provides the right platform to showcase his ability.
Speaking to the club’s media team, he said: “I want to prove that I belong at the very top, and there’s no better place to do that than at Asante Kotoko if you want to play in Ghana.”
The versatile midfielder brings significant experience to the Reds, having made 81 appearances in the Ghana Premier League.
He has also played in four CAF Confederation Cup fixtures, giving him exposure to both domestic and continental football.
Fuseini started his professional journey with Bolga All Stars, where he earned a reputation as a technically adept and hard-working player.
His growth over the years has made him one of the more seasoned midfielders in the league, and Kotoko will be banking on his pedigree to bolster their midfield options.
