Karela United have secured the services of talented winger Evans Osei Wusu on a one-year deal as the club strengthens its squad for the upcoming 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign.
The 25-year-old attacker completed his medical earlier this week before putting pen to paper, making him the latest recruit under head coach Nurudeen Amadu, who is determined to reshape his side into a competitive force this season.
Osei Wusu arrives at Karela with an impressive track record from his spell with FC Samartex 1996, where he developed a reputation as one of the most consistent performers in the domestic league.
Last season, he registered seven goals in 24 appearances, showcasing both his scoring ability and versatility across the forward line.
Across his two-year stint, Osei Wusu managed 15 goals in 47 matches, underlining his consistency and knack for finding the back of the net.
His arrival is expected to provide Karela with much-needed attacking depth and creativity, particularly as the club looks to improve on its mid-table finish from last season.
Karela fans will be eager to see how quickly the winger adapts to Amadu’s system and whether he can replicate his goal-scoring exploits in Pride and Passion colours.
With his pace, direct style of play, and eye for goal, Osei Wusu could prove to be one of the standout signings of the new campaign.
