Ghanaian forward Callum Hudson-Odoi was on target for Nottingham Forest on Sunday afternoon, scoring his first Premier League goal of the 2025/26 campaign in their clash with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
The English-born winger, who has been steadily regaining form and confidence under head coach Nuno EspÃrito Santo, struck just after the break to cancel out Ismaila Sarr’s opener for the Eagles.
Sarr had put the home side ahead in the 37th minute after scoring with a brilliant shot after receiving a lofted pass from defender Daniel Munoz.
Hudson-Odoi ensured Forest hit back almost immediately in the second half after his first-time shot sailed into the bottom right corner following a cheeky pass new signing Dan Ndoye.
The 24-year-old’s goal is his first in the league since netting the dramatic winner against Manchester City back in March.
This strike will come as a huge boost for Hudson-Odoi as he looks to cement a regular starting berth for Forest this season.
His lively display on the left flank troubled the Palace defence throughout, with his pace and direct dribbling offering Forest a constant outlet.
