Chief Executive Officer of French Ligue 1 club OGC Nice, Fabrice Boquet, beleives Abdul Salis Samed will rediscover his form.
His remarks come after the Ghana international completed a move to the French Ligue 1 side on a three-year deal ahead of the new football season.
Salis joined the side from RC Lens after being deemed surplus to requirements.
After completing the move to Nice, where he has reunited with his former coach [Franck Haise], Bocquet sounded confident that Samed would return to producing his best.
“He meets the coach’s expectations. Salis and Franck (Haise) know each other very well, which will make it easier for him to integrate, because each knows how the other works and what the other expects," he said.
"He is an international who has also played in the Champions League. After a more difficult last season, we think he’ll be able to bounce back under Franck Haise,” Boquet added.
Prior to his departure from Lens, Samed spent last season on loan at Sunderland and helped the side to return to the Premier League.
Salis is expected to begin his new chapter with Nice on August 16, when Le Gym host Toulouse at the Allianz Riviera in their Ligue 1 opener.
