Ghana Premier League club Bechem United have announced the acquisition of Mohammed Aminu, a former Manchester City youth prospect, ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The 24-year-old midfielder returns to Ghana after several years developing his game within Europes elite football academies, bringing with him a wealth of experience and high expectations.
Aminus arrival is viewed as a significant boost for Bechem Uniteds campaign, promising to add creativity, vision, and dynamism to their midfield lineup.
Once a highly-rated talent, Aminus football journey began with a notable 2 million move from WAFA to Manchester City in 2017.
Despite early promise, he faced challenges in securing consistent playing time and was released by the Premier League club in 2022.
Now back on home soil, Aminu aims to reignite his career and help propel Bechem United to new heights in the Ghana Premier League.
