American forward of Ghanaian descent, Patrick Agyemang, is optimistic he will succeed with his new club, Derby County. The attacker signed for the English Championship side on Tuesday, July 16, in a move from Major League Soccer (MLS) outfit Charlotte FC.Derby County have completed the signing of United States international striker Patrick Agyemang. The 24-year-old joins from Major League Soccer side Charlotte FC for an undisclosed fee on a four-year contract until 2029.He becomes the clubs fifth signing of the summer as Head Coach John Eustace continues to prepare his squad for the 2025/26 Sky Bet Championship season, Derby County announced.Speaking in his first interview with RamsTV, Patrick Agyemang said he is expecting the next chapter of his career to be tough but is confident he will be successful.I'm expecting it to be very tough. Definitely hard-working, and you're playing a lot of games. I know it's going to be trying at times, but it's all about how you deal with it. For me, I usually like to take those big next steps.
