New Asante Kotoko signing Lord Hilary Adabo believes joining the Porcupine Warriors is the right move at this stage of his career.The 21-year-old midfielder completed a three-year deal from FC Samartex after both clubs concluded the necessary paperwork. He joins with solid Ghana Premier League experience, having made over 60 appearances combined for Samartex and Real Tamale United.Adabo, whose discipline, reading of the game, and ball-winning ability stand out, is expected to bring steel and composure to Kotokos midfield as the club readies itself for the new season and CAF Confederation Cup campaign.There were a few offers, including some from outside, Adabo told Kotoko Media. But I believe playing for Asante Kotoko puts me in the best place to grow and earn a call-up to the Black Stars. This is a big step for me, and Im confident its the right one for my career.The midfielder is set to join pre-season training in the coming days as Kotoko continue to build a squad capable of challenging both domestically and in Africa.
