CAF names Tunisian referee Dorsaf Ganouati for Ghana vs Tanzania WAFCON 2024 decider
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed the officiating team for Ghanas must-win Group C clash against Tanzania at the ongoing TotalEnergies Womens Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) Morocco 2024.Tunisian referee Dorsaf Ganouati will take charge of the high-stakes fixture, which is set to determine which side progresses to the quarterfinals. Compatriot Houda Afine and Mmahawa Kourouma of Guinea will assist her. Algerias Ghada Mehat has been appointed as the fourth official.CAF has also named Sainabou Cham of The Gambia as the Match Commissioner, with Fatou Gaye from Senegal serving as Referee Assessor. Sinethemba Purity Mbatha of South Africa will handle media duties.The crucial encounter is scheduled for Monday, July 14, 2025, at 19:00 GMT at the Stade Municipal de Berkane. Both Ghana and Tanzania are level on one point in Group C, making this final group match a do-or-die battle for a place in the knockout stage.
