Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus has expressed his excitement after completing a big-money switch to Tottenham Hotspur.
The 24-year-old joins the North London outfit from West Ham United in a deal reportedly worth 55 million. He has signed a six-year contract and will wear the No. 20 shirt ahead of the new Premier League season.
In his first interview with the clubs official media, Kudus shared his enthusiasm about the move and promised to thrill Spurs supporters with his style of play.
It feels great to be here, Im very happy and cant wait to start, he said.
Describing his qualities on the pitch, the Ghana international added: Im a very direct winger, strong, very good in taking players on and creating chances, so there is a lot of flair in my game.
Kudus also highlighted his passion for entertaining fans: I like to entertain the fans as well. Thats what football is about its putting a memory in the heads of the fans that they have when they go back home, and after the money theyve spent to buy a ticket.
Although there is also a lot of seriousness and competitiveness in the game, I still think its a sport I try to enjoy as much as I can and give the fans something to enjoy too. I hope fans are going to really enjoy what Im going to bring to the team here.
Kudus' arrival bolsters Tottenhams attacking options as the club looks to strengthen ahead of the upcoming campaign.
