Asante Kotoko mourns tragic death of devoted fan Otumfour Nana
Asante Kotoko has expressed deep sorrow following the death of Stephen King Amoah, popularly known as Otumfour Nana, a well-known and passionate supporter of the club.Amoah, a Ghana Immigration Service officer, was found dead near Berekuso days after being declared missing. His body showed stab wounds to the neck and chest and was reportedly partially burnt and wrapped in a woollen carpet, according to his brother, Akwasi Amoako.In a tribute shared by the club, Kotoko described Amoah as a loyal supporter who never hid his love for the Porcupine Warriors. His unwavering passion for the club was evident to all who knew him, and his loss is deeply felt across the Porcupine family, the statement read.Kotoko extended condolences to his family, especially his wife and two young children, and called for a full investigation. We trust that the security agencies will conduct a thorough investigation and ensure that justice is served.Stephen King Amoah becomes the second high-profile Kotoko supporter to lose his life this year, following the tragic killing of Nana Pooley in February.
