The Managing Director of Cocoa Processing Company Limited (CPC), Prof. William Coffie, has reaffirmed the company’s commitment to deepening partnerships aimed at promoting locally produced chocolate products.
According to him, CPC is actively engaging the corporate community, including various groups, unions, associations, and educational institutions, to enhance the visibility and accessibility of chocolate products under the GoldenTree brand.
He encouraged these groups to liaise with CPC management for the supply of GoldenTree chocolates at wholesale prices, stressing that the company remains open to strategic partnerships that will drive domestic chocolate consumption.
Prof. Coffie made this call when he and his management team joined staff and customers of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) to officially launch their Customer Service Week in Tema.
In a brief solidarity message, Prof. Coffie commended the strong partnership that has existed between CPC and GPHA over the years and proposed discussions with the GPHA Union for a possible collaboration to supply GoldenTree assorted chocolates at special wholesale rates.
He reiterated CPC’s commitment to strengthening partnerships and promoting cocoa products proudly made from Ghana’s premium cocoa beans through innovative strategies that support the government’s agenda of adding value to the country’s cocoa for greater economic benefit.
CPC also used the occasion to showcase its range of GoldenTree chocolate products and explore new business prospects.
The keynote address was delivered by the Director-General of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority, Brigadier General Paul Seidu, who disclosed that his outfit is implementing reforms to ensure that customers are treated with integrity, respect, and comfort.
This year’s Customer Service Week was held under the theme “Mission: Possible” — a call on organisations to overcome challenges and deliver excellence. CPC used the platform to assure Ghanaians that it is possible to revitalise the company under its current leadership.
