
The Chief Executive Officer of PETROSOL, Michael Bozumbil, has been chosen by the Ghana Employers Association to represent Ghanaian employers as a Commissioner of the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC) and also as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT).
The new Commissioners of the NDPC were recently sworn-in by the President John Dramani Mahama, whereas the new Board of Trustees of SSNIT were also recently sworn-in by the Minister of Finance, Hon. Cassiel Ato Forson.
Mr. Bozumbil, who is also currently the 1st Vice President of the Ghana Employers’ Association, continues to demonstrate exemplary leadership, not only in growing PETROSOL to become a respected brand with triple international certifications for quality, safety and environmental management, but also in supporting the growth and sustainability of the Ghanaian private sector.

The National Development Planning Commission is a statutory body established under the 1992 Constitution of Ghana. Its core mandate is to advise the President on national development policy and strategy, and to coordinate development planning in the country. The NDPC is responsible for preparing and overseeing the implementation of national development plans and monitoring progress towards achieving Ghana’s development goals.
The Social Security and National Insurance Trust is a statutory public trust in Ghana responsible for administering the country’s Basic National Social Security Scheme. As the operator of the First Tier of the Three-Tier Pension Scheme, SSNIT provides income security for workers in Ghana, offering benefits for old age, invalidity, and survivorship. It plays a crucial role in the social protection system, ensuring the welfare of Ghanaian workers and retirees.
