
Ghana international Antoine Semenyo capped off a strong 2024/25 English Premier League season with a stunning brace in AFC Bournemouth’s 2-0 win over Leicester City.
Starting for the Cherries at the Vitality Stadium, Semenyo was instrumental in his team’s victory.
After a goalless first half, Semenyo broke the deadlock in the 74th minute, scoring after a pass from Ilya Zabarnyi.
The former Bristol City doubled his tally ten minutes later with a low strike from the edge of the box that flew past Leicester City goalkeeper Jakub Stolarczyk.
Semenyo’s goals on the final day brought his season tally to 11 goals and five assists in 37 appearances.
Semenyo’s 11 league goals this term represent a personal best, exceeding the number of goals he had scored in any single season prior.
Antoine Semenyo now has 20 career Premier League goals and seven assists.
The Black Stars striker’s impressive form throughout the season was fittingly concluded with a standout performance on the last matchday.
