
Ghanaian forward Henry Addo has emerged victorious with Maccabi Tel Aviv in the 2024/25 Israeli Premier League.
Although an unused substitute in the championship playoff final, Addo’s team thrashed Beitar Jerusalem 5-0 on Saturday, securing the title.
Maccabi Tel Aviv topped the league table with 80 points, two points ahead of second place Hapoel Beer Sheva.
This historic win marked Maccabi Tel Aviv’s 26th league title, as they successfully defended their championship.
The 22-year-old Addo joined Maccabi Tel Aviv from MSK Zilina in 2024 and played a pivotal role in the campaign.
He has since made 15 league appearances, scoring one goal and impressing with his attacking displays.
Despite Tel Aviv inability to qualify from 2024/25 Europa League phase, Addo was impressive in the tournament scoring two goals in nine appearances.
Determined to improve, the winger aims to secure a starting spot in the next season.
With this league triumph, Addo is poised to add more accolades to his collection with Maccabi Tel Aviv.
