Geisha Soap, Unilever’s leading soap brand, has reinforced its dedication to its natural ingredients and moisturizing properties.
This was at the E.D.E.N. Experience (Everyday Embrace Nature) at Treehouse in Osu, Nyaniba, an immersive event on Friday, 25th April inspired by nature and its abundant gifts.
With the theme “Gifts of Nature, Wrapped by Geisha”, invited guests were over the course of the evening encouraged to reconnect with some of nature’s purest elements and rediscover the power of natural beauty, a promise that Geisha delivers in every product. Through a blend of storytelling, poetry, art, music, and innovation, the E.D.E.N. Experience showcased how Geisha remains true to its legacy while embracing a new era focused on the natural ingredients that have always been a part of the product.
Speaking after the event, Frederick Asare, Marketing Manager for Skin Cleanse at Unilever Ghana PLC, remarked, “Geisha has always been committed to bringing the power of nature into the hands of our consumers. From the calm and refreshing benefits of aloe vera, to the deep cleansing properties of lemon and the nourishing and moisturizing benefits of shea and cocoa butter, all the variants of Geisha soap carry unique skin care benefits which represent the gifts from the natural ingredients used to formulate the soap. True to our heritage and promise of quality, Geisha reminds us that beauty and care begin with simple natural elements.”
The Geisha Research & Development team later took centre stage, sharing insights into Geisha’s natural ingredients and the thoughtful research behind each variant while demonstrating how the natural ingredients cleanse skin and maintain moisture. Influencers were then treated to hand and foot massages using natural ingredients, offering a tangible reminder of Geisha’s promise to care for skin gently and effectively.
The highlight of the E.D.E.N. Experience was a podcast session hosted by the MC, Mr. Dei, with lifestyle influencer Juliana Amoateng, Akosua Tilly, a member of the Geisha Tribe, and Dr. Daniel Nyamekye, a dermatologist. They reminisced about the timeless skincare rituals passed down from grandmothers and mothers in a session titled, “Growing up Ghanaian”. This discussion portrayed Geisha Naturals as a helper to maintain these traditions for a new generation seeking healthy, radiant skin.
According to Dr. Nyamekye, “The use of nature’s ingredients isn’t just tradition. They’re clinically effective. Geisha Naturals leverages them beautifully to promote true skin wellness. Ingredients like shea butter and activated charcoal are rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants that help replenish moisture, calm inflammation, and deeply cleanse skin. Geisha taps into these natural ingredients to offer gentle yet effective care for everyday skin health.”
The event concluded with MzVee, Geisha Naturals’ long-standing ambassador, delivered a captivating performance of her hit songs, including the crowd favourite, “Natural Girl”, and the unveiling of artworks featuring all the Geisha Naturals variants: Coconut, Shea, Activated Charcoal and Cocoa Butter, Aloe, Rose, and Lemon.
For generations, Geisha has been a trusted name in skincare. The renewed emphasis on blending tradition with innovation means that it continues to empower individuals everywhere to embrace their natural beauty, every single day.
