Nigerian music icon, Innocent Idibia, also known as 2Face appears to now have his mother’s approval to be with his new lover, Natasha Osawaru.
2Face’s family had petitioned the Department of State Services (DSS), reporting that 2Face had been missing since February 10.
According to the letter, he had left his home wearing lounge clothes and had not been seen since.
However, the singer was seen in numerous videos on social media with his girlfriend suggesting that he was with Natasha amid reports that he is missing.
Earlier in February, weeks after videos of the couple emerged online, Rose publicly opposed 2Face’s relationship with Natasha now recognizing that his son is not missing but with his newly found lover.
She pleaded with Natasha to leave her son alone and demanded that she remove the beads placed on his hands and neck, suggesting that 2Face was not acting of his own free will.
Natasha, however, defended the beads, explaining they were symbols of her family’s royal heritage.
But things between Rose, 2Face and Natasha seem to have taken a good turn now. In a recently circulated video, 2Face was seen sharing a joyful moment with his mother and other family members.
His new partner, Natasha Osawaru, was also there, indicating that family disagreements especially those involving 2Face’s mother, were over.
2Face’s relationship with Natasha became well-known after he confirmed their union in January and announced his split with Annie Idibia.
The musician insisted that their relationship had nothing to do with his split from Annie when he proposed to Natasha at the time.
Natasha recently added 2Face’s last name to her Instagram account, indicating that their relationship is growing stronger.
