Independent Presidential aspirant, Kofi Koranteng has lashed out at the two dominant political parties in Ghana; the NPP and NDC.
Interacting with Ghanaians on X space organized by TV3 on July 6, Mr. Koranteng said the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have for the past 32 years disappointed Ghanaians with their governance.
He posited that both parties are only “insulting” Ghanaians by asking citizens to vote them into power in the upcoming elections citing the many challenges experienced under the administration of the two parties.
According to him, “they [NPP and NDC] should not even present themselves for President because they have failed Ghanaians,”
“I think its an insult and the reason its an insult is because they know they can’t cut it. We have given them the chance for 32 years and they have not been able to do anything.
“For 32 years both NPP and NDC have been in the same Parliament and all the decisions have been taken by both of them at the same time and they are both responsible for the failures and degeneration we are experiencing now,” he stated.
Mr. Koranteng believes that it will be a lie for anybody to think that NPP, NDC and Alan Kyerematen should be given a chance to rule the nation.
“If you think otherwise, then you are not paying attention or you are just a liar. You are in denial, tell me where the success is at anything,” he added
The Independent President aspirant urged Ghanaians to give him a chance to rule the country with his 50-year development plan which he believes will provide solutions to Ghana’s problems.
“We are presenting a totally new Ghana agenda to Ghanaians. We are going to change the constitution, we are going to eradicate corruption and then institute a national development plan for the next 50 years and then four years increment,” he explained.
