Pharoahs have been awarded $85,000 for qualifying to the 2018 World Cup

The President of Egypt, Abdul Fatah Al-Sisi has awarded $85,000 to each player for booking a spot in the 2017 U-17 World Cup.

Egypt was rewarded the lofty bonus after a 2-1 win over Congo at the Borg EL Arab Stadium at Alexandria.

Mohammed Salah scored a goal in the 63rd minute with a shocking late equalizer which came by the way of Arnold Bouka Moutou.

A stoppage time penalty converted by Mohammed Salah got his side into the world cup and that was enough to send the stadium into raptors.

Egypt book the ticket to Russia 2018 ahead of Uganda,Ghana and Congo in Group E.

Ghana have won only one game throughout the qualification series in Group E and that has attributed to Ghana being denied spot to the Russia 2018 World Cup.

Ghana miss Russia 2018 after qualifying for three successive World Cups. Egypt qualify for the World Cup for the first time since 1990.
