

Coach of the Black Stars B team believes the $100,000 reward will encourage the team.
The gallant Black Stars Team B were able to annex the WAFU 2017 trophy on Sunday, September 24 with Ghana being in joyous mood.
On Tuesday, the Black Stars B team met the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo at the Flagstaff House in Accra.
This was a short ceremony to present the trophy to the president of Ghana.
President Akuffo-Addo rewarded the Black Stars B with $100,000 and thanked the team for their glittering performance in the WAFU tournament.
Maxwell Konadu spoke to the media after the gathering at the Flagstaff House.
He gave his remark on how the performance of the Black Stars B team with respect to all other national teams.
“The team we are building is on the ascendency now. We will make sure that the teams do well. I think in the coming that the female u-20 team will be playing and I hope they qualify for the World Cup.”
He also gave the impact of the reward from the President to the team
“With what the President has done I think he has encouraged us and sends a message to the boys that if they give out their best they will be rewarded.
“It is very positive for us and we are all happy about”
Joseph Addo, Vincent Atingah and Isaac Twum have merited a call-up into the Ghana squad to face Uganda on October 7th in Kampala.
