

The FDA has released a list of some unregistered drugs shipped into the country.
Coartem, Procold, Zentel, and Amodiaquine Suspension have been named as some of the unregistered drugs shipped into the country.
Officials of the Food and Drugs Authority disclosed this when they met the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of Parliament in connection with their operations on Monday, August 7.

The drugs mentioned are part of a list of 72 drugs the FDA said were imported into the country between 2012 and 2013, without authorisation.
The drugs on the list are said to be used for treating flu, malaria, and others.
