I am not organizing a party with Samira Bawumia – Gifty Anti

Ace journalist and broadcaster, Gifty Anti now known as Oheneyere Gifty Anti, has become the latest celebrity in Ghana to fall victim to social media fraud.

In an Instagram post, Oheneyere Gifty revealed that an unknown person is using her name and picture to solicit funds from unsuspecting victims to organize a party with wife of the Vice President, Samira Bawumia.

“Dear friends, it has come to my notice that someone is using my name and picture to solicit funds, claiming I am organizing a party with the wife of the Vice President, Samira Bawumia. Please this person is a fraudster.”

She has denied any form of involvement in the criminal act and has cautioned the public to disregard anyone using in her name or picture to dupe her followers on social media or better still, report it to the police.
