US-born Ghanaian left-back Curtis Ofori has parted ways with boyhood club New York Red Bulls.
The 20-year-old defender's contract option at the end of the 2025 season was not triggered, allowing him to leave after three years in New York. He joined the MLS side from the club's academy, where he honed and nurtured his skills.
Ofori spent most of his time with the MLS Pro side, helping New York Red Bulls II win the developmental competition. Last season, he made 13 appearances for the youth side, delivering two assists.
"The club has declined options on defenders Kyle Duncan and Curtis Ofori," wrote NYRB on their official website confirming his departure.
Meanwhile, compatriots Ronald Donkor and Mohammed Sofo will continue their careers with the MLS side after they were announced as part of the 2026 roster.
Donkor and Sofo have been key members of the club, featuring prominently in the regular season.
Next season, the Ghanaian duo will work with new coach Julian de Guzman following the sacking of Sandro Schwartz.
