Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo has spoken publicly about ongoing transfer speculation linking him with a move from the club following his blistering start to the 2025/26 Premier League season.
The Ghanaian international has been in sensational form, scoring six goals and providing three assists in nine league appearances, a tally that places him second only to Manchester City’s Erling Haaland in the scoring charts. His electric performances have reportedly attracted interest from several top clubs, including Liverpool and Manchester United.
Recent reports have even suggested that Liverpool are preparing an official bid for the 25-year-old, though Semenyo insists he remains grounded amid the growing rumours. Speaking to Sky Sports, the Black Stars attacker revealed he is fully focused on his current club and enjoying his football at Bournemouth.
“I don’t think about it too much. I try to stay present as much as I can,” Semenyo said. “You see the news all the time, I see it as well, I’m not oblivious, but I try to keep focused. I’m enjoying my football here. If I’m not scoring goals, all of that goes away. I just try to do the best I can for the team, score goals, and whatever happens in the future happens.”
Semenyo’s maturity and mental composure have been praised by pundits who see him as one of the Premier League’s breakout stars this season. While speculation continues to swirl, Bournemouth are determined to keep hold of their in-form forward, whose pace, direct play, and finishing have made him a fan favourite.
