All accused in Nana Pooley murder case granted bail, alleged killer still at large
The Sunyani District Court B has granted bail to all accused persons in police custody in the murder trial of Francis Yaw Frimpong, popularly known as Nana Pooley.The decision was made on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, with no objections from the Attorney Generals office.Presiding Magistrate, His Worship Eric Danning, set bail at GHC 300,000 for each accused, with three sureties, one of whom must be justified.They are required to report to the CID twice a week, keep their phones accessible for investigations under legal supervision, and surrender their passports or travel documents to the court registrar.They are also restricted from travelling outside Sunyani and Nsuatre without court approval.However, the prime suspect, Daniel Febiri, remains at large as police continue their search.The next court hearing is scheduled for April 2, 2025.
