Ghana's newly sworn-in Sports Minister, Kofi Adams, has highlighted the pressing issues plaguing the country's sports sector.According to Adams, Sports has been under funded so infrastructure has been poor.He also noted that there has been a lot of complains of corruption.Adams emphasised that the focus has been too narrow, prioritising the Black Stars football team while neglecting other sports and even other aspects of football.Ghanaians are not happy about what we've done to the other sports, even in terms of football, we have focused more on just the Black Stars, he said.President John Dramani Mahama has assured Adams of his support in addressing these challenges.Adams' appointment comes at a critical time, following the tragic death of a football fan during a league game between Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Nsoatreman FC.
