
Inter Allies midfielder Isaac Twum who has been called up to the Black Stars for the first time says he is looking to make a statement.
The midfielder earned his call-up after impressing in the WAFU championship which Ghana hosted and won last month.
“It is an honour to be called up into the Black Stars and I am ready to fight for a place in the squad, just like every player,” he said
“In order to get my chance I need to justify my inclusion by proving my worth and this is one of the biggest challenges of my career”
The 19-year-old was voted the most valuable player in the WAFU championship and his game is on the rise.
Ghana will take on the Cranes today with only a win keeping their dreams of playing at the World Cup alive.
