Ghanaian Jeffrey Schlupp thriving under big Sam Allardyce at Crystal Palace

Ghana international Jeffrey Schlupp says that the guidance of Sam Allardyce is one of the reasons he joined relegation-threatened Crystal Palace.

The Ghanaian has been impressive in the last three games since gaining the confidence Sam Allardyce.

"Everyone was aware of what he achieved before he joined and was a key reason for me coming here," Schlupp told his club’s official

"He sends us out onto the pitch with a game plan that we have been working on in training and our results prove that it is working.

"We do a lot out on the training pitch regarding our shape and he works with us as a defensive group and we have been doing a lot of work on that."

Schlupp was in the team for Wednesday’s 3-1 loss to Southampton, and will likely feature in Monday’s meeting with Arsenal.
