Ghanaian Dancehall sensation, Stonebwoy, has extended a heartwarming gesture to Tyrone Marhguy, the Rastafarian student from Achimota School, who recently achieved an outstanding feat in his WASSCE exams, scoring A1 in all subjects.
Stonebwoy, impressed by Tyrone’s academic success, has generously offered him and 10 loved ones free VIP passes to his upcoming BHIM concert on Friday, December 22.
Tyrone Marhguy, one of the Rastafarian students who faced admission challenges at Achimota School due to their hairstyles, emerged victorious in a High Court ruling on May 31, 2021, mandating the school to admit them. Stonebwoy, acknowledging Tyrone’s achievements, expressed admiration for defying stereotypes associated with ‘Rastafarianism’ and commended him for his academic excellence.
In a celebratory tweet, Stonebwoy wrote, “Congratulations! This continues to defy the odds that all Rastas are up to no good. 10 VIP tickets for you and friends – let’s celebrate on Friday at the Stadium [sic].”
